Kennedy Meeks down to UNC and Georgetown

West Charlotte All-American center Kennedy Meeks told the Observer Monday night that he will play college basketball at Georgetown or North Carolina. ESPN national recruiting analyst Dave Telep ranks Meeks the nation's No. 19 overall recruit and the No. 1 center. Meeks is 6-foot-9 and 285 pounds. Meeks said he was thinking about making a final decision this month but said he may not be ready by then.
