No. 2 Maryland used a goal in each half to down No. 3 North Carolina Sunday in the ACC Championship match in Germantown, Md., 2-1. The Terrapins struck in the opening minutes when Dakota Edwards tallied his first career goal to put Maryland in front in the 11th minute. UNC will learn its NCAA Tournament fate at 5:30 p.m. on Monday when the NCAA Tournament field is announced.
