Trouble so far for Heels on the clock

Butch Davis is just three games into his tenure as North Carolina's head football coach, so time is on his side with regard to building his program. But the opposite has been true for Davis' team on game day. The Tar Heels are last in the nation in time of possession. UNC has controlled the ball an average of just 23 minutes, 49 seconds per game, leaving its inexperienced defense vulnerable to fatigue and breakdowns.
