Eve Carson's killer to be resentenced in April
Posted Feb 22, 2013
Laurence Lovette Jr., one of two men convicted in the death of former UNC student body president Eve Carson, will be resentenced April 26 in Orange County District Court, a judge ruled Friday. The N.C. Court of Appeals ruled earlier this month that he must be resentenced because of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling about automatic life sentences of offenders under age 18 at the time.
