Scott Goodwin Named ACC Academic Of The Year

North Carolina senior goalkeeper Scott Goodwin has been named the 2012 ACC Men’s Soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year and heads up the sport’s All-ACC Academic Team, as announced Friday by Commissioner John Swofford. The 2012 Capital One Academic All-America of the Year in Division I men’s soccer, Goodwin is a two-time Academic All-America selection, earning first-team honors in 2012 and second team honors in 2011.
