Not perfect, Tar Heels still owned ACC's lower seeds this season

The Tar Heels were swept by Miami and Duke and lost road games to potential NCAA tournament teams Virginia and N.C. State, but they went 10-0 against the bottom seven teams in the league. UNC’s ability to avoid a bad loss helped the Tar Heels earn the third seed in the ACC tournament heading into its quarterfinal game Friday night at the Greensboro Coliseum.
