NFL Draft reaction from Gio Bernard, Brennan Williams
Posted Apr 27, 2013
Giovani Bernard’s decision to enter the 2013 NFL draft appears to have paid off. Bernard was the first running back taken when he was selected 37th overall by the Cincinnati Bengals Friday night. “I obviously believe in the gifts that God gave me, but at the same time there’s a lot of great backs out there,” Bernard said. It marked the highest selection for a UNC runner since Ethan Horton was picked 15th overall in 1985.
