Jon Scheyer officially named a special assistant for Duke


Former Duke guard Jon Scheyer, 25, will return to the program as a special assistant for the 2013-14 season, the school announced Monday. Scheyer, who helped lead the Blue Devils to the 2010 national championship as a senior, will fill the role formerly held by Nate James, who was promoted to assistant coach after Northwestern hired .
