Justin Warren quits Tar Heels


Senior , who accounted for seven of the eight tailback carries returning to North Carolina from 2006, has quit the team, a UNC spokesman said Tuesday. Warren, a 6-1 walk-on from Germantown, Md., was not in contention for either the starting or backup tailback job. He had 24 rushes for 163 yards and a touchdown during two seasons as a Tar Heel.
