Jon Heck Emerging at Right Tackle

News was free flowing following North Carolina’s practice on Wednesday, starting with a decision on the right tackle position battle and ending with six walk-ons that were recently awarded scholarships. While Kiaro Holts and Nick Appel rotated in at right tackle during Wednesday’s practice, Jon Heck took the initial reps and emerged as the likely candidate to start in UNC’s season opener.
