As a team, the Tar Heels don't talk much about the streak. Then again, they don't really need to. Call it bad karma or unlucky breaks or some sort of weird away-from-home happenstance, but North Carolina hasn't beaten Georgia Tech in Atlanta in 1997 - a span of 16 years and seven road games. And entering this weekend's rematch at Bobby Dodd Stadium, it stings.
