UNC tops UNC Wilmington 84-51 in final tuneup before ACC play begins

Some in UNC’s student section wore New Year’s Eve hats on Tuesday, and for just the second time in school history the Tar Heels wore their blue road jerseys for a home game. The game came with a marketing slogan, too: “Happy Blue Year.” The Tar Heels obliged with a few highlight-worthy plays during the second half of an 84-51 victory against UNC Wilmington.
