Tar Heels wear down Seahawks

North Carolina and UNC-Wilmington came together Tuesday evening in the Smith Center but it looked early on like both teams had their mind on their New Year's Eve plans instead of basketball. The result was another sloppy, lethargic first 30 minutes. The Tar Heels got energized late in the second half and wound up blowing away the visiting Seahawks, 84-51, but it wasn't pretty for long stretches.
