Tar Heels put it together, put away UNCW

North Carolina fans are tired of watching their Tar Heels struggle to put away lesser opponents. But despite leading by only eight at halftime against UNC Wilmington on New Year’s Eve, something was different — and it wasn’t the Carolina blue uniforms. Though the first half didn’t show it, the No. 19 Tar Heels came to the Smith Center ready to play. UNC blitzed ’s Seahawks 84-51. (Durham Herald-Sun)
