Ack attack back for Tar Heels
Posted Jun 21, 2007
UNC first baseman Dustin Ackley has put together a season that makes it easy to forget one important fact. He's a freshman. Ackley busted out Wednesday at the College World Series with a 2-for-5 afternoon that included a three-run, seventh-inning homer that wrapped up the Tar Heels' 6-1 victory over Rice. Ackley also had two other good swings that ended as outs, leaving him confident that the bad times might be behind him.
