Demon Deacons upset No. 19 Tar Heels 73-67


Travis McKie scored 10 of his 16 points in the second half to help Wake Forest beat No. 19 North Carolina 73-67 on Sunday in the ACC opener for both teams. Codi Miller-McIntyre added 12 points for the Demon Deacons, who took control with a 15-2 run midway through the second half to build a double-digit lead. The Tar Heels cut the deficit to 64-61 with about 2 minutes left, but got no closer. (ESPN.com)
