Berry, Jackson, Pinson nominated for 2014 McDonald's All American Game


North Carolina basketball signees , , and were named Tuesday to the list of 2014 McDonald's All American Game Nominees. If the trio make the final roster, which will be announced at a later date, they will add to UNC's list of 67 current and former McDonald's All-Americans who have played in the prestigious annual event since 1977.

Berry is a point guard from Lake Highland Prep in Orlando, Florida. Pinson is a wing forward from Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, North Carolina. And Jackson is a wing forward from Homeschool Christian Youth Association (HCYA) in Katy, Texas. All three are ranked as 5-star recruits by the major recruiting services, and each will join the Tar Heels' roster next season.

The McDonald's All-American Game will be played Wednesday, April 2nd 2014 at the United Center in Chicago. You can view the complete list of the 2014 McDonald's All-American nominees here (PDF file).
