Zone defense pushes Miami past North Carolina 63-57

Miami dared North Carolina to beat it with 3-pointers on Wednesday. The Hurricanes won’t be the last to try that. Using a zone defense, Miami bunkered in and defended the paint, content to give the Tar Heels plenty of looks on the 3-point line and beat UNC on the road 63-57. The shots weren’t falling, but North Carolina is — falling down the ACC ranks.
