Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson makes final All-Star push

Long before he became the floor general for the Denver Nuggets, Ty Lawson was the Candy Man of Gwynn Park. He would stock up his inventory at Costco and then hand out assists for a small fee. “They didn’t have vending machines in middle school, so I was the Candy Man,” Lawson recalls with a laugh. “You want to holler at me? I got a dollar for Starburst, Sour Patch Straws, Snickers. I was a hustler.”
