Dustin Ackley gears up for College World Series

University of North Carolina freshman Dustin Ackley, the son of one-time Mahopac baseball star John Ackley, has already made quite an impact. During a game on April 3 against UNC-Wilmington, the left-handed-hitting first baseman belted a grand slam so hard that it broke his aluminum bat. Since then some teammates have called him Roy Hobbs after the mythical character played by Robert Redford in "The Natural."
