Dustin Ackley gears up for College World Series


University of North Carolina freshman , the son of one-time Mahopac baseball star John Ackley, has already made quite an impact. During a game on April 3 against UNC-Wilmington, the left-handed-hitting first baseman belted a grand slam so hard that it broke his aluminum bat. Since then some teammates have called him Roy Hobbs after the mythical character played by Robert Redford in "The Natural." (New York Journal News)
