Previewing Providence

No. 6-seeded North Carolina opens its NCAA Tournament against No. 11-seed Providence, which won the Big East Tournament title behind its star guard Bryce Cotton. Tip-off in San Antonio is set for 7:20 p.m. ET and will be televised by TNT. Providence enters Friday’s contest with a 23-11 (10-8 Big East) record. The Friars dropped four out of five games in February before closing strong.
