North Carolina and Iowa State advanced past Providence and North Carolina Central Friday evening in San Antonio's AT&T Center to set up a meeting Sunday evening at 5:15 pm eastern time (4:15 pm local time) in the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament. Under young but talented head coach Fred Hoiberg, Iowa State is 27-7 after Friday night's win over N.C. Central.
