UNC wins first ACC baseball title since 1990

The title drought is over for the Tar Heels. North Carolina's tripled home for the winning run in the eighth inning to give the Tar Heels a 3-2 win over Wake Forest on Sunday in the title game of the ACC Baseball Championship. The win capped a strong finish by the Tar Heels, who lost their opener against Georgia Tech on Wednesday but rebounded to post three consecutive wins. North Carolina won its last title in 1990.
