At No. 37 in the top of the second round last year, they selected North Carolina’s Giovani Bernard and he bolted off the board to a club-record 56 catches by a running back while averaging 4.1 yards per 170 scintillating carries and earning a berth as a NFL Rookie of the Year finalist.
