Kennedy Meeks down about 45 pounds from last summer

North Carolina's Kennedy Meeks is still slimming down. The rising sophomore says he weighs around 270 pounds, down about 45 pounds since arriving on campus. In an interview with reporters Wednesday, Meeks said he feels more explosive and can play longer stretches without fatigue. Meeks says he has done better in the weight room and wants to weigh 265 pounds for next season.
