Delvon Roe likely to commit to MSU
Posted Apr 17, 2007
Delvon Roe, ranked as the No. 5 high school basketball player nationally for the class of 2008, is expected to announce today he's made a verbal commitment to Michigan State. Roe, a 6-foot-8 forward, plans to make the announcement at 2:30 p.m. The Tar Heels were believed to be the favorite for a long time, but the idea of playing closer to home apparently played a key role in the end.
