The fourth-quarter clock was winding down and, leading by six, the Cavaliers had a first down in Tar Heels' territory. This was it. This was the season's swing game, and Virginia was going to remain atop the ACC's Coastal Division and move within a victory of the bowl eligibility. Then came an unraveling, one that will live in infamy and lead any obituaries the season might require. UNC 28, Virginia 27.
