Carolina Baseball Monday Notebook


Catcher led the Tar Heels with a .563 average (9-16) on the week and an even .500 mark (6-12) in the series win over Wake Forest. He has hit safely in 10 straight games to match his career-best hitting streak established a year ago. Federowicz drove in six runs on the week and is now second on the team with 29 RBI and is also second with his .374 batting average. (Tar Heel Blue)
