Catcher Tim Federowicz led the Tar Heels with a .563 average (9-16) on the week and an even .500 mark (6-12) in the series win over Wake Forest. He has hit safely in 10 straight games to match his career-best hitting streak established a year ago. Federowicz drove in six runs on the week and is now second on the team with 29 RBI and is also second with his .374 batting average.
