On December 17, 1976, a Sixers legend was immortalized with a banner in the rafters. The Spectrum stood as the towering monument to Philadelphia indoor sports culture, and Billy Cunningham was there to see his number 32 ascend towards the Philadelphia basketball heavens. His UNC days are marked with unbelievable rebounding and scoring games.
