Tar Heels hoping to star on the too-late show

How does Ty Lawson keep such a high level of energy going for so long without wearing down? The answer is simple. Plenty of sleep. “I’ll take a nap 10 minutes before a game, then go right out and play,” he said. “That’s just how I prepare.” If that’s the case, Lawson should be plenty rested by the time he gets onto the court tonight against Southern Cal. The opening tipoff isn’t scheduled until 9:57 p.m. and even that might be optimistic.
