Dick Vitale saddened to miss calling first Duke - UNC game of his career
Posted Feb 17, 2015

Vitale, who has been calling the Blue Devils - Tar Heels rivalry since the network's inception in 1979, was taken off the broadcast this year in a move that seems to mark a transition to ESPN spotlighting fellow analyst Jay Bilas.
