It was March 1957, and the magnitude of what had recently taken place was not completely evident. At first glance this is your typical David versus Goliath story. After all it is the Final Four and it is Kansas, a college with a basketball tradition almost as large as its starting center Wilt "The Stilt" Chamberlain.
