Tar Heels Fall in ACC Tournament Championship
Posted Mar 15, 2015
No. 5 seed North Carolina was in control of Saturday’s ACC Tournament championship game until it wasn’t. The Tar Heels built a nine-point second-half lead and then watched it turn into a 14-point deficit over a seven-minute span. If fatigue set in, neither Roy Williams nor his Tar Heels would admit to it after the game. “They beat our butts,” Williams said. “That is the bottom line.”
