Intense UNC DBs fired up to improve

It’s only four days into the spring season, but listening to the fiery intensity of UNC junior cornerback Desmond Lawrence, an inconsistent Tar Heels secondary will be refashioned into the Hounds of Hell next season. “We always wanted to win, but this year we’re just trying to be dogs,” Lawrence said Tuesday. Charlton Warren, the defensive backs coach newly arrived from Nebraska, has his players stoked. (Durham Herald-Sun)
