Former UNC basketball player Melvin Scott trying to rebuild after rape charges dropped
Posted Apr 24, 2015
After months of proclaiming his innocence, Melvin Scott no longer faces legal issues after the second degree rape charges against Scott were dropped Wednesday. "First of all I thanked God, I called my family – it was a relief," said Scott. "I lost my home, I was homeless for about 3 months," said Scott. "I lost all my income, my jobs, the toughest part was what my family is going through."
