Brandon Ingram’s decision not a sign of doom for UNC

An in-state Division I coach said last year that Kinston’s would “change the game” if he picked a school other than North Carolina. Dressed in a black tuxedo Monday night, Ingram committed to Duke. It’s rare for UNC, Duke and N.C. State to all make the list of finalists for a highly rated recruit, particularly one who is a local product, and it’s extremely rare for the Tar Heels to lose an in-state battle. The game has changed. It’s not over, though. (Fayetteville Observer)
