Heels' success points to Lawson

Point guard Ty Lawson was 10 years old — just learning the importance of defense — the last time North Carolina won the ACC Tournament. Thanks to those skills, the top-seeded Tar Heels, who beat fourth-seeded Boston College 71-56 on Saturday, have a chance today to win their first title since 1998. "I thought Ty may have had his best defensive game of the year," UNC coach Roy Williams said.
