Posted May 25, 2015
For the second time this year, the Tar Heel nation is mourning the loss of a coaching giant. Bill Guthridge passed away at his home on May 12. He was laid to rest in Chapel Hill Monday afternoon. The funeral service mirrored his life. It was understated, tasteful and packed with stories of strength and inspiration. "He just took what our parents had established for us as a foundation and he just enhanced it," said former player James Worthy.
