Before he was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 2006, put together one of the most decorated seasons by a pitcher in North Carolina baseball history. During his junior year, Miller compiled a 13-2 record with a 2.48 ERA in 123.1 innings and won several national player of the year awards.
