UNC Tops Winthrop In Men's Soccer Exhibition

Andy Lopez scored once and assisted on another goal in helping No. 5 North Carolina to a 4-1 victory over Winthrop in an exhibition men’s soccer match Friday night at Fetzer Field. UNC took a 1-0 lead into intermission thanks to an own goal by the Eagles early in the opening half. Winthrop evened the match in the 60th minute, but Lopez got the game winner a few minutes later.
