Tar Heel defense turning over new, competent leaf in 2015?

With a new defensive coordinator installing a new, simpler defensive scheme, the Tar Heels are hoping to turn one of the nation’s worst defenses in 2014 into one that’s at least average. After one game, UNC’s defense appeared to be much improved in 2015. The Tar Heels went toe-to-toe with a power-conference opponent, and held it to a measly 17 points.
