Why did Elijah Hood not touch the ball in the last red-zone sequence of North Carolina’s 17–13 season-opening loss to South Carolina? That question has been asked by many fans and commentators since Thursday, when Hood wasn’t given the chance to add to his 139-yard rushing total at the end of UNC’s ill-fated final drive.
