No. 3 North Carolina opened up Atlantic Coast Conference play with a 2-0 victory at Virginia Tech on Friday night from Thompson Field. Two late goals in the opening half put North Carolina (4-0-1, 1-0-0 ACC) firmly in the drivers seat against the Hokies.
