Dustin Ackley’s lively bat giving Yanks a boost at second base

Manager Joe Girardi started against a right-hander again Sunday night and it paid off in the Yankees’ 11-2 victory over the Mets. Ackley’s three-run homer in the top of the sixth broke the game open and gave the Yankees a 5-1 lead after a Carlos Beltran double put them up for the first time. (New York Post)
