Like finding a true freshman quarterback who is ready to start in football, freshman point guards in college basketball are rarely impact players. Ty Lawson is an exception, and thank goodness for the Tar Heels. With the nagging foot injury to sophomore Bobby Frasor, who made the ACC's all-rookie team a year ago after starting all 33 games, Lawson has jumped near the front of the line of this year's ACC rookies.
