Matt Harvey remains huge source of community pride in Connecticut hometown
Posted Oct 12, 2015
Two years ago, Matt Harvey was the National League’s starting pitcher in the All-Star Game at his home ballpark of CitiField. He got thunderous applause from the sellout crowd, pitched well enough, even cut a humorous bit for the Jimmy Fallon Show earlier in the week. That was the toast-of-the-town, Dark-Knight-of-Gotham Matt Harvey. But it was his performance at a local field this past All-Star break that may say more about who Matt Harvey truly is.
