Matt Harvey trades brilliance for grit in odd, glorious Harvey Day
Posted Oct 13, 2015
Matt Harvey sounded perfectly fine with how National League Division Series Game 3 went down. For sure, the fans at Citi Field’s postseason debut were far better than fine. Maybe this set the tone for the Harvey Days that remain in 2015. In the Mets’ 13-7 bludgeoning of the Dodgers, which put them up by a 2-1 margin in games, Harvey’s first career playoff start stood out more for the right-hander’s grit than for his dominance.
