UNC Men's Soccer Falls to Syracuse in ACC Tournament Quarterfinals

Seventh-seed Syracuse advanced 4-3 in penalty kicks past No. 2 seed North Carolina in the quarterfinals of the ACC men’s soccer championship Sunday afternoon from Fetzer Field. Ranked third in the country, North Carolina (14-1-3) received a second-half goal from Tucker Hume to knot the match at 1-1. The score remained tied after 110 minutes heading into penalty kicks to decide the match.
