UNC freshman point guard Ty Lawson, likely to be the ACC rookie of the year, had more turnovers (four) than assists (three) in 20 minutes against Miami for just the fifth time in his career. And he was coming off that sensational performance at Arizona -- 18 points, eight assists, one turnover and four steals. He had seven assists and only one turnover in 31 minutes against N.C. State.
