Brian Gregory’s concern before the game was finding a way to corral UNC’s multiple scoring options for all 40 minutes. Tech barely hung on in the first half, when UNC started off making 10 of its first 26 field-goal attempts The Jackets led 42-39 at halftime. But after the half, the Tar Heels shot 58 percent and scored 47 points.
